Here is the numero uno video from the Ben Watts shoot for treats! issue 2! Inspired by Queen’s ‘Fat Bottom Girls,’ Ben created a vibrant editorial for us called ‘Breaking Away’. This is a behind the scenes look at what happens on set at treats!. Lot’s and lot’s of fun!!

To promote Issue 2, they have a video campaign of three behind-the-scenes videos from Ben’s photo shot that are simply called, Ben Watt’s Shoots Girls On Bikes. The aptly named trio of videos includes a behind the lens look at the photo shoot, including topless models and bikes supplied by Big Shot Bikes. Beautiful models. Nudity is the best.
I’m pretty convinced that this video is NOT helping the community of cyclist women for it’s sexist content from such a supperficial point of view.
I hope you guys rethink about this fact, as I consider it pretty offensive.
As I am also a woman riding all kinds of bikes each day, even a track one, I’m tired of seeing stupid bike advertisements with women and sex from a masculin and sexist perspective.

Thanks for your feedback. While we completely respect your opinion, treats! magazine always aims to celebrate the female form and it’s beauty while steering away from the pandering and gratuitious. In fact almost half our readership is made up of females. By no means do we wish to offend but at the same time we do not wish to make any statement in terms of women that ride bikes. This was a photo shoot for an editorial in our magazine, we were not advertising any products, rather celebrating nudity in a fun and vibrant way. I highly recommend you get your hands on a copy of the magazine which I think will best explain where we are coming from.
